metastatic colon cancer
by: Anonymous

Metastatic colon cancer is cancer of the colon that has spread to other body areas. The liver is a common place in which to get metastatic colon cancer. If there is just one lump in the liver, doctors can remove the lump and cure the cancer. If there are many lumps, doctors often use targeted chemotherapy, which is chemotherapy given into the artery that leads directly to the liver, making it stronger than if the chemotherapy is given to the entire body.
