Although tinnitus cures are not possible, relief for tinnitus is possible. If you have had colon cancer, and underwent chemotherapy, there is a good chance you suffer with tinnitus. Remedies for tinnitus include acoustic therapy and a homeopathic solution. You will read about all these topics on this web page.

What Is It?

Tinnitus is a constant noise in one of your ears or both of your ears. The noise could be:

  • Ringing
  • Buzzing
  • Whistling
  • Hissing
  • Clicking

It is incessant and can be distracting. It can keep you from falling asleep. It can wake you up in the middle of the night. You may not be able to concentrate. It may even make you anxious.

The insomnia is what takes its toll. Sleep is necessary to function optimally. If you can’t fall asleep or stay asleep, you may want to see your primary care doctor. There are prescriptions that can take care of that insomnia problem. If you get a good night’s sleep, you are better able to cope with the distracting sounds.

Acoustic Therapy

One of the remedies for tinnitus is something doctors call acoustic therapy. It recommends the use of sound generators. A sound generator could be a CD or an actual noise-generating machine with volume controls and frequency settings.

The purpose of the sound generators is to produce a pleasing sound that will be background noise. It will distract you from the sounds of your tinnitus. The sound generators produce sounds of rain falling, or the ocean waves crashing on a beach, or birds chirping.

I have an alarm clock that has five different nature sounds. The sounds are very soothing and relaxing. When you focus on your tinnitus noise, your muscles are tense. You might really want to invest in a sound generator or an alarm clock like mine. It is worth a try.

If you have a hearing loss along with your tinnitus, you may want to get a hearing aid. The hearing aid will make your environment sounds clearer. It may reduce the sounds of your tinnitus.

So, even though there are no tinnitus cures, you can get relief for tinnitus. I recently read about two antidepressant drugs that help with tinnitus. Pharmacists call them tricyclics. They are amitriptyline or nortriptyline. They do have unpleasant side effects, such as dry mouth and constipation.

Some doctors may prescribe Xanax, but it could make you drowsy. That would be good at bedtime.

Remedies for Tinnitus

We are now selling a new product called Ring Relief. It has a patent pending formula proven to relieve earaches and the noise of tinnitus. It is a solution of glycerin and seven active ingredients. Glycerin is an innocuous liquid found in all hand lotions. The active ingredients reduce inflammation if there is any. It relieves the noise of tinnitus. It is not a cure but a remedy to help you cope.

You will soon be able to get yourself some Ring Relief in our Bookstore/Pharmacy. It comes with a money-back guarantee. You have nothing to lose in trying this product. We stand behind our products.

Conclusion

Although tinnitus cures are not possible, relief for tinnitus is possible. Hopefully you learned something of value from this web page.

If you have any questions related to your colon cancer, or chemotherapy, or tinnitus, please send them our way. We are always happy to hear from our readers.
