Stage 2 Colon Cancer, No Treatment yet

My father was diagnosed with stage2a colon cancer last Nov 2011. He is only taking herbal supplements and no other treatment is being given to him. He is 74 yrs old, has pneumonia and an enlarged heart.
We are afraid he might not able to withstand surgery given his condition... he is taking 12 capsules of reishi ganoderma and lucidium and when he does, his pain goes away but if he doesn't the pain is too much for him. Due to financial constraints we still cannot afford surgery.
