Reoccurence of colon cancer

by Robin
(Providence,RI)

Hi.
My father was diagnosed with colon cancer, stage II, in January of 2010. The cancer broke through a muscle wall. He had surgery.

He also had one chemo treatment but then stopped them in order to go back to work. He also has had prostate cancer for about 5 years. He has a seed implant to treat it and it has been working.

Two days ago(May 10,2011) he had a colonoscopy. New growths were found. A biopsy was done. My question is: What are the chances/percentage rates that these growths are cancerous? Thank you.
