Post colonoscopy pain

Is it common to have pain after removal of colon polyps. and if so, how long does it last? I had polyps removed 3 days ago and still have pain in the area where the polyps were.

I just had a colonoscopy last Friday, 10/30, and am just now feeling better. I also had a polyp removed and have diverticulosis. The pain/gassy feeling did last for 5 days, tho. Very uncomfortable, but it does go away. It wouldn't hurt to call your doc, however, for a more professional opinion. Good luck to you!
