possibly colon cancer?

i have this kind of feeling that i need to go to get my bowel done. but once at toilet, there is nothing come out. and also i have frequent farting. which i believe is resulted from gas. i am a young adult, not a smoker or a drinker. and also i dont have any history of family with colon cancer. could what i've mention at above is a sign of colon cancer?
