Probably the most important thing you can do is talk to your doctor about when you should get screened! Being proactive about your health is the greatest gift you can give yourself!

That depends on your age. But in general, encourage him to do the things that he usually loves to do so he enjoys life just like before and even more. Try to be with him as often as you can, even if each of you are doing different things, just being together in the same place makes a big difference. I hope he is going for treatment, seeing his doctors, and that his illness is going away.
