Pain on the Left Side of my Abdomen

by Garry Mcfarlane
(United States)

Hi,

I have been experieincing pain in my left side, I'd say honestly for about 6 months now. I thought it was indigestion as Lanzoporale seemed to help, but not anymore. it feels like a pulse on the left side of my abdomen, a dull throb and ache type pulse feeling, worse when I am lying horizontal or if I am stressed.

Do you think I am displaying any symptoms of colon cancer? I am too afraid to go to the doctor's office. I am 33 have been taking Mitrazipine antidepressants for approx 7 years now. I think I'm healthy - go running and training at the gym at least 3 times per week, but I smoke and used to drink at least 4 times a week for a number of years, I still drink but about twice a month. Can you send me any info or reply via email if you think I should get this examined.

Many thanks and kind regards,

Absolutely, go for an abdominal ultra sound, CT scan, and a colonoscopy. Find a doctor who will listen and get to the bottom of your problem.
