Numb And Scared

Well, I have had a few lower bowel pains and constantly feel bloated - the pain was worse when I urinated - but then it stopped after taking some antibiotics. I do get tired more and not fussed on eating and always feel like a mild burning pain in my stomach area. I have not lost any weight and do not have diarrhea but I do wee a lot. I have a colonoscopy in a weeks time as my stools showed blood in two of the three tests. Maybe it is just piles or something minor. Waiting for this colonoscopy is the worst thing "gee, we are booked up until the 15th" the doctors receptionist said. Don't they understand that these things should be done straight away, they should have 24 hour tests being done for people constantly, I feel the world has become too blasé and death is just a number. I am worried and scared but feel numb too, like I am just a number, but what can one do?
Just wait and hope and maybe pray....
