MY son's colon cancer

My son who is 33 yrs old had colonoscopy done and told he has colon cancer.
He also had a CT scan and came back positive and only one lymph node is swollen.
All other organs are fine .
Now he is waiting surgery on 12th of this month.
He has a very positive attitude and looking forward to getting rid of the problem.
I am his mother and we still do not know what stage this is.
No family history of this and we are very shocked to even think what causes this.
I will keep you posted with the result after the surgery.
All I can do is pray that is is Ok , He has three little girls age 4yrss to 6 months.

Good news, and what about...

Dear Fatima,

Have you all read the excelent results people are having with water that has the proper ph level?

We do not sell it, so no personal gain interest, here. Just have read a lot of excellent feedback, from people who have added something specific to their drinking water, to alter its ph.

Agree with you - something is causing it. Hope the next report is even better!

Up Date

Up date on my son's colon cancer treatment.
Chemo is all done and his port is removed.
So far he is feeling well and has gone back to work part time.
He will have another blood text in six weeks to see if every thing is clear.
The message on this disease is to find out early so it can be treated.
He has also changed all his diets and only eats fresh foods no artificially added foods.
He also gave all his information to New Zealand Cancer research so it can be used for further research.
Thank you to all for praying for him.

Son and mom's heart...

With 6 sons I birthed, and another I married into - and 3 girls, too - I feel "with" you. Never easy to see an offspring ill, slightly or seriously.

Have attempted 8 or 9 times, and email is correct. Message, mailbox is full. No additional needed for shipment, and forgive me getting you this way. Searched a long time online.

Thank you Emily. Every one has been praying for him.
Since he started Chemo he has all the side effects now.
This is just the begining of his chemo he has six months of this.

First of all thank you Emily for your prayers.
My son had his surgery , thank God he did not have a colostomy bag.
He recovered well after the surgery . It has been two months now and today he starts chemo in Auckland Hospital.
This will go for six months to kill any cancer cells left behind.
What is difficult about this illness is no one knows if there is any infected cells left behind.
My son never smoked never drank .
I hope the research people who are trying to find out the cause for this illness should know.
There has to be some thing thats causing this.
All I can do is pray that he gets a clear bill of health and enjoy his life with his family.
His three little girls do not understand what he is going through.
They are 4 yrs ,3 yrs and 8 months.
Thank you again.

My sons Colon cancer

Thank You for your prayers Maria and Albert,
My son had his surgery and the surgery went well on Monday 9/12/11.
He is home with his family now .
The tumor was huge but we do not know what stage it is.
Next week he goes back to take the stitches out.
The surgeon has another appointment to let him know what stage this cancer is.
Right now its good to have my son back home and recovering.
Thank you all for your prayers.
I know prayer can mover mountains.
Thank God he is OK.

I can only imagine your despair at your son's diagnosis. Have faith that all will be well. Please post more information as to what is going on. My prayers to you, your son and all of your family so that you can continue with faith and strength.

I will wait for your next post to read your update for the surgery.
The doctor should give you the stage number after the surgery.
I will pray for your son that God would be with him during the surgery and always.
