My husband's Stage 4 colorectal cancer
by Linda

My husband was diagnosed 2 weeks ago with metastatic colorectal cancer, Stage 4. His first and only symptom was shortness of breath. No other signs or symptoms! The doctor sent him for bloodwork, which led him to the E.R. There they found several large liver tumors.
Not knowing where the origin was, they did a biopsy, several other tests and finally a colonoscopy. This is when they determined it began in the colorectal area. Tomorrow another colonoscopy, then the treatment begins.
This has been 2 weeks of hell on earth. I wouldn't wish this on anybody. Please, please, please....if you have not had a colonoscopy, do so as soon as you can! Don't wait! If you're afraid of the horror stories you've probably heard about the prep, they have recently come out with a new type of prep that is a LOT easier. You will be amazed! So, now, nobody has a reason or excuse to delay it any longer. Save a life....save YOUR life!
