Treating metastatic colorectal cancer
by: Anonymous

Metastatic colorectal cancer is cancer that has arisen in the colon but has spread to other body areas. The most common places for colorectal cancer to spread are other parts of the abdomen such as abdominal fat and other colon tissue, and the liver, which drains all the blood from the colon area. Doctors use treatment such as chemotherapy to try and get rid of the extra areas of cancer.
