Early signs of colon cancer or something else?

What are the early signs of possible colon cancer?

If you were to experience, very loose bowel movements,(never solid) blood from the rear end, severe cramping and discomfort all the time, problems with certain foods, weight lose, very skinny.

Are any of these signs, and if so how do we approach a Dr.? Please tell me as We don't know what to do next. So far the dr. has only sent him for 1 Ultra sound where the detected bruising around the Kidney or Liver areas.

Don't know what or where to go next. Please help us.

DIARRHEA IS A SYMPTHOM

I had diarrhea for months. First they tested for CDIFF and it came back positive, unfortunately, but even after the antibiotics I still continued to have loose, pencil thin, frequent bowel movements. This was a sign I had colon cancer. I had my colonoscopy and another came back in just one year that lead to a resection. Be diligent with your Docs. yourself.

Early signs of colon cancer?

I had loose runny stool and blood. Other times my bm were not the usual size but thin. I had a Colonoscopy and had a cancerous poloyp removed; and a few weeks later had a laproscopic partial colectomy. 1/3 of my rectum and some of my colon were removed then the healthy ends were attached. Surgery was 12/2/10, today is 12/15/10: I am doing fine, bowel movements are somewhat normal (softer and smaller) and I am fatigued easily; but the recovery so far is easier than I expected.
Insist on having a Colonoscopy immediately; it could save your life.

demand a colonoscopy. i had/have the same symptoms,and a recent colonoscopy reveiled 3 polyps

i had very similar symptoms

i had very similar symptoms and it was polyps and diverticulitis, my polyps weren't cancerous and i had lots of them and the doc thought for sure i had cancer but i didn't. get a colonoscopy. positive thinking helps tons, jokes laughs all that stuff.
