Dr's can't do anything for moms tumor anymore

This was my mothers third year doing chemo and just recently they told us it has spread and chemo is no longer working for her. So now due to the tumor growing and growing she is having al ot more bleeding down there. Dr says there is nothing they can do to minimize the bleeding. So my question is does anyone know if this is true or maybe experienced this? Thinking about getting a second opinion.
