Dreading The Cost

I had a colonoscpy 7 years ago and now I'm 61 so the 'scoping center' sent me a letter to go back for a another scoping. But I'm worried about the cost.
My mom and dad had problems with polyps, but thankfully the docs caught it in time and my folks moved on to all the other old age medical problems.
But I haven't worked in a year and we are just hanging on to the house and car payments. I know other people must be in this same situation - what do we do?
