If my CT scan didn't show anything abnormal, can I still have colon cancer?

I had a ct and thy found a big one that was cancerous and there where smaller ones that didn't show up that where also.I was very lucky because if I hadn't had the large one and had a colonoscopy I would have waited 10 years to have the next and it I'm sure woudl have been to last.
Have a colonoscopy and put all doubt aside
