colonoscopy at reduced price

by Lucia
(Pismo Beach, CA)

It has been 5 years since my last colonoscopy. I know it is important to have a follow-up especially since my mother died from colon cancer. We are self-employed and our Anthem Blue Cross policy does not cover any preventative procedures until our $3500 (each) deductible is met. I understand the total cost is around $2000.Because our business income is very low now, I'm considering postponing the procedure . I am 61 years. Are there any doctors that will discount the cost?
