if colon cancer has been diagnosed through a physical examination and has been present a year what stage is this?

Colon cancer stage depends on where the cancer is and where it spreads to. If it is only starting on a surface of a polyp, it could be stage 0 (zero) which is treated by simply removing the polyp. If the cancer spread from the polyp to the colon, then the stage depends on how much or how deep in the colon the cancer spread.

It is important to ask a doctor about the stage. The doctor will only estimate the stage. But there are special procedures that will determine the exact stage of the colon cancer.

For one thing colon cancer is not detected by a physical.so who ever told you that don't go around them
