my doctor recommended that i have a surgery.

I am 42 years old and he said i have colon cancer stage 0. I really worry about it. I don't know what to do!

Can you give me some information of a better option beside the surgery?

thank you

i think you should do the surgery

do the surgery, my mom had a section of her colon removed and has been cancer free for years, i have had several polyps removed recently and have more to go (i am also 42) i would hate to tell you to do it and then something bad happens, but i don't know of anything else to do. be happy, joke about it, laugh, it helps, positive attitude is amazing and works (they have proven it scientifically) you could go see a second doctor to make yourself feel better. if you have some nurse/doctor friends you could ask if they know of a great doctor, we have been very lucky and have a wonderful doctor who everyone in the st. louis area seems to think he is one of the best. I have been wearing a scapular and carying a rosary and I know that has helped me. you can search online for alternatives, you could try a faith healer type of person but don't run away from the doctors
