Colon Cancer or Parasite

I was in Africa for two weeks at the end of November. After five days I got an unusual pain in my lower abdomen. I had a colonoscopy 2.5 years ago it was clear. My doctor ask me to do a three day stool test at home as I tested positive for anemia in my blood work. Stool test came back negative. I'm a 59 yr. old type 1 diabetic going through hell.
