My quick story
by: Cindy

Hi there. I was diagnosed in 2006 at the age of 43 with colon cancer-stage 4. The cancer had spread and formed a very large tumor on my liver as well as a smaller one and it was in 10 of the 11 lymph nodes that were removed. I had colon surgery and then I did chemo every other week for 4 months then had liver resection followed by 3 more months of chemo. It was a very rough year. It returned 17 months later- again chemo and liver surgery. I am here today telling you my story- don't give up, don't give in. I am currently cancer free for almost 30 months! Enjoying life! Bless you all and please please please stay positive!
