Bleeding 11 weeks post sigmoid colon resection
I underwent a sigmoid colon resection (mechanical obstruction) November 15th. I've been bleeding with every BM since then. In late December, the surgeon did a flex sigmoidoscopy, and said that the anastomosis wasn't healed yet.
The GI doc wants to do a colonoscopy to be sure that "...there's nothing above the anastomosis..."
