Alternative cancer treatment combined with the traditional methods

My mother was recently diagnosed with colon cancer phase 4. I am trying to do anything that I can to save her and follow the right treatment. I have been reading on-line different methods and diets that might help. I find contradictory advice.
I read that meat has to be completely eliminated; then i read that fish and chicken is OK.
I am also not sure about vitamin C, vitamin B17, Cesium Chloride, ZINC, Marine Phytoplankton, and juice feasting. What does anyone suggest for a diet and all this alternative options? I just don't want to try something that will hurt her.
