1 year later with my colon cancer problem

I had a colonoscopy 7-21-2009 I had 2 small polyps
removed, 2-13 2011 I had rectal bleeding my dr. was
treating me for hemorrhoids
3- 11-2011 I had another
colonoscopy. This time I had 3 stage colon cancer
had spread to my lymps nodes,I was not to have another
for 3 years,
How could this have happened?
